what did you enjoy most about the experience?

Team Velo Challenge is a fantastic opportunity for me and my staff to get together in unfamiliar surrounds and challenging situations but above all else, we have an absolute blast
— Chris Mitchell MD The Genuine Dining Co.
I am sure everyone will say the same, but the fantastic atmosphere and camaraderie was definitely the best bit. As someone completely new to the event, I could not have been made to feel more welcome and part of the team
— Isobel McCalmon, 2016
Although we were all in our own teams, the general event comradery was amazing. Everyone socialised, encouraged and supported all participants. Not many events where this is the case
— Matt Symonds, 2016
I really enjoyed leaving London with 3 work colleagues and arriving in Paris with 3 good friends
— Marc Frankl, 2016
Going to Paris was a huge challenge for me as I’m not a cyclist, I only started my training recently and I would have gave up on the way if my team was not so supportive! It was awesome to have them, when I was complaining because of all these hills on the way :)
— Melissa Vidal, 2016

what was your highlight of the trip?

Apart from the amazing scenery, it has to be the pit stop on day 3. BBQ’d snails with garlic butter, beer, French bread, Yum
— Matt Symonds, 2016
Meeting such an amazing group of people either cycling or in the support vehicles – the camaraderie was amazing! But the BBQ takes centre stage – Dave the Butcher (Michael’s Catering Butchers) provided some first class ribeye, sausages and the best ever burgers and the Genuine Dining Chefs cooked up a brilliant feast with splendid salads to complement
— Anne Pierce, 2016
Rounding the corner from Avenue des nations Unies, then across onto Pont d’lena, with the Eiffel Tower in full sun-drenched view is really quite exhilarating
— Danny Jenks, 2016
The morning of Day 2 when we left Caen and rode along the canal. We set off just before sunrise and got to watch it rise slowly to what was a great weather day. It was very quiet and peaceful and our team cycled quietly for the first hour just taking in the wonderful French countryside
— Clinton Campbell, 2016
